The Screes Inn at Nether Wasdale was taken over by Caroline, Steve Joe in May 2010. Caroline runs the pub whilst Steve runs his own outdoor adventure company. Joe is still at school but lends a hand every now again. The Screes Inn is situated in the heart of the Lake District in the small hamlet village of Nether Wasdale, a short distance from Britain?s favourite view, Wastwater. The Inn has a large comfortable bar area with a wood burning stove which roars away during the colder months. We offer a good choice of home cooked food, real ale malt whiskeys.
